Professional classification requirements
- Official qualifications

It shall include the date of issuance, the date of graduation, the title of the certificate, and the specialization.
All qualifications prior to the qualification submitted for classification, for example: if the classification is needed for classifying as a consultant in the sub-specialty, a bachelor's degree certificate must be attached, in addition to the general specialty certificate and sub-specialty certificate.

- The verification result issued by the verification company approved by the SCFHS for the following documents:
- Equalization certificate issued by the Ministry of Education for Saudis with academic qualifications from outside of the Kingdom
- (Bachelor - Physician - Higher Diploma - Master's - PhD or Doctor of Philosophy )

The academic record indicating the program details, duration, and practical or internship program specification (Bachelor - Physician - Higher Diploma - Master's - PhD or Doctor of Philosophy )
- Certificate of completion of training for the higher professional certificates (Fellowship - Board) It shall indicate the details of the program, such as the duration, the date of joining the training and the date of completion

- It must be valid and issued by the relevant official authority in the applicant’s country in which he/she practiced work before arrival in the Kingdom and attaching a verification letter for this certificate.
- In the absence of an official body for professional registration, an official letter issued by the Ministry of Health in the applicant’s country must be attached. In this case, the verification of the experience letter from the approved company is enough.
- Experience must not be below one year for non-Saudis, with the exception of the Graduates of Saudi universities.
- Experience is not required for the Saudis but, without the discontinuation of the professional practice more than 2 years
- A document proves (in writing) the availability of the necessary expertise to qualify for the degree to be classified according to the executive rules of the general bylaw of the Professional Classification and Registration .
The verification result of qualifications issued outside the Kingdom, considering the following:
- If the classification application is based on a bachelor’s degree only, the bachelor’s certificate must be authenticated
- If the classification application is based on postgraduate higher degrees, it is a must to authenticate the higher degrees without the need to authenticate the bachelor's degree.
The following cases exempted from the verification requirement
Qualifications obtained by Saudis from outside the Kingdom and have been equalized by the Ministry of Education
the recognized qualifications issued by academic and professional entities inside the Kingdom
It must be issued within three months prior to submitting the application from the Personnel Affairs Department or the facility's representative, proving clinical practice in the field of specialization, the professional category and the date of starting work.
